Armitas are very similar to chinks. Instead of the tooled/stamped YOKES up by your waist, there's a fringed belt instead. This allows for a little more ease of motion when bending over, mounting your horse, etc. Plus, it looks cool!

SPECIAL FEATURES of our chaps!
  • With our laced-in zippers, there IS ROOM FOR ADJUSTMENT! We measure you for your summer size. Then add room for a 1" larger adjustment for those winter days when you need to wear more layers!
  • Ever had troubles bending your leg to get on your horse when wearing your chaps?? Of course. We take extra steps to make sure this doesn't happen with our chaps. We cut the knee area of the chap out of a stretchy area of the hide. This allows you bend at the knees much better!
  • At the bottom cuff, we also make special cuts to make room for your boot and spur. These ensure a nice even fit down the entire leg and doesn't hinder the use of the spurs.

  • Made out of tough Oil Tan Leather. Helps keep moisture off and protect you against the rough country. This leather is stiffer than the Glovetan used on Shotgun Chaps. This helps hold that "bell" shape off the bottom of the leg.

Base design:
  • One color body, oil tan leather yoke (no stamping), single fringe halfway down the leg, step-in leg closure, lace front belt and 1"  back belt, cuff on bottom. Adult - $675. Youth - $475.

  • Arizona Bells are typically Step-In style leg closure. We also offer them with buckles or zippers.
  • Add a pocket as well! Hidden or exposed.
  • Buck stitch is also a BIG favorite on these! $2/inch extra for this.
  • Add more to customize your order! Double fringe, brands, tooled yokes, and more!

This pair went to a lady up in Canada. They're one of a kind because, on the yokes, are the brands of all the different outfits she's worked at. It can get nasty-cold when riding feedlot pens in Canada's winter. These sure help keep her warm!
This pair is unique because of the wool used - it is black with silver tips!
